Blue Remembered Hills shares the adventures of a group of 7 year olds one summer's day in war-time Britain in The Forest of Dean, Shropshire. Their playtime is a rich mix of emotions – joking, fighting, bullying, manipulation, - all portrayed by adult actors. The playwright, Dennis Potter used adult actors in order to view the behaviours of childhood alongside the awareness of adulthood.
